He studied Business Administration at Saarland University and earned his doctorate with a thesis on Business Process Management. Since 1992, he focuses on innovative software technologies for digital communication, learning and work.
Dr. Ulrich Schmid is the managing director of MMB institute. He has dealt with the digitization of learning throughout his career - as a researcher, in universities, in publishing houses and in software companies.
Dr. Markus Schäfer leitet aktuell den Fachbereich Kfz-Technik am Hönne Berufskolleg in Menden. Er ist Lehrbeauftragter der Universität Siegen und Betreiber des YouTube-Kanals kfz4me.de. Wissenschaftlich beschäftigt er sich u. a. mit der Entwicklung einer designorientierten Didaktik.
Wolfgang Reichelt is the managing director of DEKRA Media GmbH, a subsidiary of DEKRA SE, and member of the board of DEKRA Akademie Group. He has been developing CBT (computer-based trainings) since the mid-80s and WBT (web-based trainings) and virtual training environments since the 1990s. Lutz P. Michel studied Slavonic linguistics, journalism and sociology at Münster University and earned his doctorate with a thesis on Russian literature and history of newspapers in 1980. For ten years, he was a research fellow at the university’s journalism institute and also taught at other public and private universities. He has been working in the field of applied media research since 1990, among others as managing director of infas Medienforschung GmbH, Bonn. In 1996, he founded the private research institute MMB – Michel Medienforschung und Beratung (today: mmb Institut GmbH), located in Essen and Berlin. He was the founder and long-term board chairman of the German e-learning network D-ELAN e. V and executive spokesman of the BITKOM work group Learning Solutions.
Dr. Peter Littig, born 1948, is a mathematician, physicist and educational scientist. He used to teach at public and private schools and has been working in adult education since 1984. He was trainer, consultant and head of department at Control Data Institut. From 1995 on, he was head of education at DEKRA Akademie GmbH. He is now retired, but still serves as advisor on educational policy to the board of directors.He has published numerous papers and books on further education, human resource development and digitization in learning and training.
